Abstract

The study entitled Land Tenure and Ownership Patterns in Agricultural Areas (HPS Location) in Jejangkit District, Barito Kuala Regency, has the aim of the research first to identify how the impacts after changes in land use change, from agriculture to built up areas to the economic conditions of the community in Jejangkit District Brito Kuala Regency. Secondly, to find out how the efforts to improve the community's economy with changes in land use, from agriculture to the area built in Jejangkit District, Barito Kuala Regency. The method used in this research is empirical legal research methods intended to examine the effectiveness of written law or to make identification of the law. Some conclusions that can be presented in this study are firstly the problem of land inequality is increasing and there are no more rules on land tenure. Meanwhile, economic liberalization that prioritizes the value of money causes institutions of social employment relationships to be increasingly replaced by wage employment systems that are motivated by the economy. The development of agricultural technology that leads to specialization causes the future employment system will lead to a wholesale system. Both the District Jejangkit adjacent to the capital of the province has changed the pattern of the control and ownership of its 90% ownership and control of land by residents outside the District Jejangkit, so farming areas subdistrict Jejangkit not was fit again as changing patterns of control and ownership of the
